What is Yōikoma?
Yōikoma is a weekly comic presented in a four-panel Yonkoma format while Mini-Yōikoma is the single panel format of the series . Both versions are gag-a-day strips that reference a lot of popular anime and manga titles.
How often does Yōikoma update?
Yōikoma usually updates every Monday, but can appear later in the week, too. Mini-Yōikoma updates sporatically. These are usually the strips that run on weeks without a new Yōikoma
When did Yōikoma first start?
The very first Yōikoma was actually a Mini-Yōikoma and it went live on September 4, 2017.
What does Yōikoma mean?
Yōikoma「容易コマ」means "easy frames" in Japanese. It’s a play off of the word yonkoma「4コマ」which means "four frames." It is also a friendly jab the fact that Yōikoma comics are much simpler drawn than their Friday 4Koma counterparts.
Is there always a bonus panel?
Yes. Every Yōikoma contains a bonus standalone panel, while Mini-Yōikoma are usually only a single frame.
Who creates Yōikoma?
The same guy who creates everything else on Omake Theater. Just call him Onii-san.
