I don't know whether she did or didn't enjoy the campaign. After she realized that I structured the quest based on the rules the 4th Edition of Dungeons & Dragons, she broke up with me on the spot. I had a hunch that the streamlined mechanics of that version would help to speed up the process, just not in the way that it did.
