When I original thought of the premise for today's Friday 4Koma, I simply thought to myself, "Wouldn't it be funny to see Alphonse Elric eat a banana, you know, since he cannot actually eat anything or even open his mouth?" But as I started to plot the layout of the comic, it began to remind me of El Cid's video animation: Batman Eats a Hotdog. And you know what? That's not necessarily a bad thing. Heck, if this comic is popular enough I might consider turning it into an animated short itself. It's just something I happened to notice.

There is a serious lack of Fullmetal Alchemist「鋼の錬金術師」related content on Omake Theater. I hope this 4koma helps to begin to alleviate that disparity.
